I'm 29, living in London, about to sign a salaried publishing/songwriters deal with Mike Chapman and I have two songs on Agnetha Faltskog's first - post Abba - solo album.
This is on the heels of a trio I was writing for/ playing lead guitar and providing lead vocals - the other members happened to be Barry Barlow ( former drummer for Jethro Tull ) and Chris Glen ( the former bassist for the SAHB ).
Again, one year later, I'm singing top 40 hits in winebars to survive. The publishing deal up in smoke, no one else covering my songs and the band defunct.
So what is going on??? I nearly made it, indeed!
