Looking back

Looking back always improves things for me. I can get crazy with what I think are inexcusable blunders on stage only to find - with the soothing passage of time - that what seemed so awful at the moment, doesn't anymore.

Widescreen couldn't help but have numerous glitches live. We were using an overloaded, 'past it's due date' laptop, homemade pedals to control it . . . and the person responsible for all that slightly unreliable technology also playing accordion/keyboards/singing and throwing shapes at the same time!

I feel bad for getting out of sorts with Larry so often!

I look back at the photos from our gigs and just see three people having a good time together. I should have focused more on that back then.
